Meet at 12.00pm for lunch at the OPEN HEARTH HOTEL in Warrawong.

After lunch go to the movie of your choice at the gala or Hoyts.

Sunday, 5th October 

NRL Grand Final Day at Bruce & Gina's

Join Bruce and Gina in the action and excitement by watching the end of the footy season at the Carter’s home.
Dress up in your team’s colours. This is always a good night with all the friendly rivalry between club members. Sausage sizzle before the game and supper during the half time.

Snags from 6pm, game starts at 7.30pm.

Cost $5.

Restaurant Night at Thai Niyom, Windang

Found a new restaurant at Windang, The “Thai Niyom”, 2/233 Windang Road, WINDANG.

We have been to this restaurant and the food is fantastic. Parking in front of the restaurant is available from 6pm, parking also available in the car park in Acacia St, behind Foodworks.

Restaurant is BYO.       It is a small restaurant so numbers are limited to 18 persons.

Arrive at 6.00pm for a 6.30 start. Please have cash for payment.

Faulty Towers at Warilla Bowling Club

A Theatre Restaurant Night - Faulty Towers at Warilla Bowling Club, 63 Jason Ave Warilla. at $90  which includes a 3 course meal and show.  

Tables are round tables of 10 and some have already been booked so tickets are selling fast.  

 I thought it might be a fun night so if you could put it up as soon as possible I would appreciate it.

This months production is "Meow, Meow's The Red Shoes. It is a story about a vain girl who wants to wear red shoes to church instead of the traditional black. Her shoes get cursed causing her to never stop dancing when she starts.

Walk from Central or catch the Light Rail. You must have a Pension Card and ID. Queue for tickets at 11.00am, have lunch and then the show is at 1.00pm

Trains:  Dapto 8.43am, W'gong 9.07am, Thirroul 9.18am. Meet upstairs in second last carriage.

Illawarra Yacht Club presents the Oz Icons Show

 The Oz Icons show features footy legend Wayne Pearce and as well cricketer Mike Whitney.

We saw this band a few months ago and it was a great night.

I think that this night will be fantastic. The show is FREE and you just need to pay for your meals and drinks.

Best to be there by 5pm, bistro opens at 5.30pm and the band will start around 7pm till about 9.30pm.

It’s all the Ozzie songs, apparently this show was in early August, and it was a full house.

IOC Meeting Night

All Welcome!

The meeting commences at 7.30pm downstairs in the Sunken Lobby at the Fraternity Club, Fairy Meadow.

Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to join us for the meeting or come early and join us for dinner from 6.00pm in the Fraternity Bistro.

Don't forget to wear your IOC name badge to win a prize and help us to get to know each other.

Sunday 26th October

Indoor Bowls at Warilla Bowling Club

Enjoy a fun 2 hours of bowls with no sun, wind or rain or bumps in the grass. Meet in the foyer at 12.00 n00n for lunch and at 1.30pm play bowls.

Cost is $6 for bowls and green hire. Socks, bare feet or bowling shoes must be worn on the green.

After the game enjoy a coffee, or a cool drink and a chat.

Bronte House Tour

The Heritage listed Bronte House is open to the Public on 2 weekends each year.  This year it is open between 10am till 2pm.  Bronte House is set on 2 acres of beautiful designed and colourful gardens.

Train times:  Dapto 8.17am ,  Wollongong 8.33 , Thirroul 8.51 arriving at Bondi Junction at 10.30am.

 I will meet you at Bondi Junction Station, then a short bus trip to Bronte.  You may like to bring a picnic lunch in the Gardens, or have lunch in Bronte after the Tour.
