How to join the IOC

The Illawarra Outdoor Club welcomes visitors and new members to our activities.

To Join: We invite you to attend our monthly meeting, which is held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm at the Fraternity Club downstairs in the Sunken Lounge (11 Bourke St, Fairy Meadow).

You will be welcome to join us for dinner prior to the meeting from 6.30pm if you're available.

The Fraternity Club has an excellent restaurant with good food at a reasonable prices, and the staff works very hard to please their customers.

We recommend you also have a look at our Monthly Programs, and when you decide to go on one of the activities, please contact us at least a week beforehand, to ascertain details of the meeting place, time, contact person, and other information about the activity.

Please note: It is expected that following no more than three activities, you will become a member.

The requirements for membership of the Illawarra Outdoor Club are:

• There is no separate joining fee.
• The annual Membership fee is $25 for a single member.
• The annual Membership fee is $45 for a same-address couple.
• Complete a membership application form.

Renewing your membership:

You will no longer have to complete a renewal form, because:

• Your details will be carried over from the last year.
• Any changes to your details should be given to the club secretary soon after they occur. 

Several methods of payment are now available:

• Cash placed in an envelope with the name/s and amount enclosed detailed on the envelope.
• Payment by online banking to the following account:
