Chau Chuk Museum at Sydney University

The museum has a wonderful ethnographic collection, Australia and Papua New Guinea, and artefacts recovered by the University from excavations in Italy, Greece, Egypt (lots of mummies), Cyprus and the Middle East.
Excellent New displays.

Trains: (Oak Flats 9.22am, Dapto 9.32am, Wollongong 9.47am, Thirroul 9.58am) to Central, second last carriage upstairs, then bus to University. If buses are running meet at bottom of escalator Chalmers Street North entrance. Taxi if needed or bus from Central Station.
Arrive at 12.00 noon for casual lunch then view museum until 4.00pm

Restaurant Lunch at Golden Loy, Albion Park Rail

This year we will try a restaurant lunch and a restaurant night on alternate months. The odd months January, March etc will have a lunch and the even months February, April etc will have a dinner. Our first lunch will be at the very popular Golden Loy Chinese Restaurant, 195 Princes Highway, Albion Park Rail. It is BYO and no corkage. Arrive at 12.00 noon for 12.30pm start. Parking behind the shops. Turn into Creamery Street at Bakers Delight and then right into the car park. Please have cash for payment!

IOC Meeting Afternoon
All Welcome!
This year we are meeting in the afternoon. The meeting will commence at 1.30pm downstairs in the Sunken Lobby or a place to be nominated at the Fraternity Club, Fairy Meadow.
Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to join us for the meeting or come early and join us for lunch from 12.00 noon in the Fraternity Bistro.
Don't forget to wear your IOC name badge to win a prize and help us to get to know each other.

Card & Games Evening at Figtree

Join us for a fun night of cards and games at the Bridge Club Hall in Figtree.
Cost is $5 per person.
Please bring a small plate of nibbles to share for supper. No hot food as there are no heating facilities.
Doors open at 6.30pm for 6.45pm start (don't be late!)
Address: 11 Princes Highway, Figtree.
Approach can be from either north or south. Turn into the park on the north side of Figtree shopping centre carpark.

Indoor Bowls at Warilla

Enjoy a fun 2 hours of bowls with no sun, wind, rain or bumps in the grass!
Meet in tte foyer at 12 noon for lunch and at 1.30pm play bowls.
Cost: $6 for bowls and green hire. Socks, bare feet or bowling shoes must be worn on the green.
After the game enjoy a coffee or cool drink and a chat

OZ Icons on the Green at Oak Flats Bowling Club

Australia Day at Oak Flats Bowling Club, David Avenue, Oak Flats. and it’s on the green, outside to see the OZ Icons show.
The club opens at 10am and you can start to arrive around 11am.
Just need to pay for your lunch and drinks. I booked for 12 people for on the Veranda for lunch at 12pm

Apparently, this event was on Australia Day this year. There was a sausage sizzlebut the receptionist doesn’t know if this will happen this year. It sounds like it was a very good day.
More details to follow as the date gets closer.
The band will start around 12pm and go to 3pm.
