Saturday 1st August

An Evening with Rodgers & Hammerstein at the IPAC

Following the success of their show  "Some Enchanted Evening",  Sydney Musical & Opera Society are performing the above show featuring songs from many famous musicals performed by seven principal vocalists, a full ensemble and choir and a magnificent 23 piece orchestra.

Ticket price is $55.00 for a group of 20 or more.

Tickets will be available at the July Meeting. No arrangements for lunch so get together with other members and organise your own.

 

Saturday 2nd & 16th August

Bush Dancing at Heininger Hall Dapto

Come along at 1.30pm for a fun afternoon of movement, exercise and laughter with a friendly group.

No partner needed, beginners and families welcome.$5 includes afternoon tea.

Tuesday Tunes at the Builders

Be entertained  by Susannah Mirana & Grant Galea. Doors open at 11.00am and the show starts at 11.30am. 

Cost is $40 which includes s two course lunch.

Need to pay Carole D. the month before to purchase tickets.. If Not purchase tour own at the club.

Wednesday 12th August

Restaurant Night at the Pai Tong Thai at Woonona

Arrive at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start at the popular Pai Tong Thai restaurant at 409 to 411 Princes Highway ,Woonona.

We have been there a few times and the food is always nice and there are many options to choose from.

Parking on the street or there is a car park behind Priceline Pharmacy. It is BYO and corkage is $2.50 pp.

Friday 14th August

The Casula Playhouse presents: "Bunyip Barrons"

The play  faeturing Don Ezard one of our esteemed members is being performed at The Casula Playhouse, adjacent to the station, a refurbished Power Plant that has been made  into an enterprising entertainment, gallery and culinary precinct.

A Theatre Party is organised for Friday 14 August and the adventure begins with a meeting at Wollongong Railway Station at 7.20 am to catch a coach to Campbelltown then a train to Casula. All of this is on a $2.50 Senior ticket. We arrive at the playhouse around 10.15, have refreshments and then watch the production. Afterwards we can join Don for lunch before catching return trains to Wollongong.  
The cost of the Play is $30.00 and it is necessary to pay a booking deposit of $10.00 by the July meeting and pay the remainder $20.00 at the Box Office  on the day.

We are going to the 1.30pm matinee performance of the classic "Arsenic and Old Lace"

Meet at Corrimal RSL for lunch at 11.30am

Meeting Afternoon

All Welcome.

The meeting will commence at 1.30pm downstairs in the Sunken Lobby or a place to be nominated at the Fraternity Club, Fairy Meadow.

Members, guests, and visitors are welcome to join us for the meeting or come early and join us for lunch from 12.00 noon in the Fraternity Bistro.

Don't forget to wear your IOC name badge to win a prize and help us to get to know each other.

A Hot August Night at Kiama Golf Club

A Hot August Night (Neil Diamond Tribute) at Kiama Golf Club  by Platinum Duo, 79 Oxley Avenue, Kiama Downs.

You just pay for your meals and drinks and the show is free. Plenty of parking.

Booked at 5.30pm for dinner and the show starts at 7.30pm.

This should be a great night. This is their very last show, so it would be nice if you can come along and enjoy this great night out.

A show not to be missed. I have booked for 12 people but I can always increase the numbers.

We Remember The King – Elvis Tribute Show featuring three outstanding performers bringing the magic of Elvis Presley to life:

Free Show 7.30pm Start.

I have booked for 12 people but I can always increase the numbers.  Dinner is booked at 6.30pm

This should be another good event to go to.

Games & Card Night at Figtree

Join us for a fun night of cards and games at the Bridge Club Hall in Figtree.

Cost is $5 per person.

Please bring a small plate of nibbles to share for supper. No hot food as there are no heating facilities.

Doors open at 6.30pm for 6.45pm start (don't be late!)

Address: 11 Princes Highway, Figtree.
Approach can be from either north or south. Turn into the park on the north side of Figtree shopping centre carpark.

Indoor Bowls at Warilla Bowling Club

Enjoy a fun 2 hours of bowls with no sun, wind, rain or bumps in the grass!

Meet in the foyer at 12 noon for lunch and at 1.30pm play bowls.

Cost: $6 for bowls and green hire. Socks, bare feet or bowling shoes must be worn on the green.

After the game enjoy a coffee or cool drink and a chat
