About the IOC

The Illawarra Outdoor Club (IOC) is a friendly social club that arranges a diverse range of activities every month for its members. We are not a club centered around one particular interest, which means our activities are as diverse as the backgrounds of our members.

Throughout the month, we organise both indoor and outdoor functions, ensuring plenty of opportunities for socialising and making new friends.

Our activities cater to everyone's interests and abilities. You can join us for a delightful restaurant night, dance your heart out on our dance night, see a movie, go sightseeing, enjoy a BBQ, paddle a kayak or canoe, experience a theater performance, or have a fun card and games night.

We also throw exciting theme parties, arrange camping trips and weekend getaways, and even organise holidays, whether nearby or overseas. The possibilities are endless, and it all depends on the members' ideas and willingness to participate.

Whether you're single or a couple, everyone is welcome to become a member of our club. We cherish newcomers and make sure they feel at home right away. If you're new to the area, joining our club is an excellent way to meet local people and make lasting friendships. For those who are single again, our relaxed and social atmosphere makes starting over much easier, and many close friendships have blossomed over the years.
